Alex Lakaj files plans for 79-unit mixed-use building in Williamsbridge

Alex Lakaj through the company RBA Developers LLC, on March 10, filed a permit application for construction of a 79-unit, 53,599-square-foot mixed -use building at 1039 East Gun Hill Road in Williamsbridge, Bronx.

There have been 10 new building plans, including these plans, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00693446. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: new seven-tory mixed-use building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have recreation space, community space, and one dwelling unit. The second floor will have nine dwelling units and recreation space. The third floor will have 11 dwelling units. Floors four through six will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, and the seventh floor will have nine dwelling units. The building will have 40 parking spaces.

The architect listed is Fred Geremia, Architects & Planners.

The property was acquired for $4.2 million on December 27, 2021.
