AJ Richard & Sons files for more common retail use group at 31K sf retail building in Marine Park

AJ Richard & Sons, on April 15, filed a permit application for a $30,000 change in use of a 31,553-square-foot retail building at 2544 Flatbush Avenue in Marine Park.

The plans call for the decrease in the zoning square feet of the building from 36,230 square feet but no change in height. It is a 30-foot-tall, 2-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: it is proposed to change use from furniture store to retail store use group 10 as shown on plans. This application is filed in conjunction with alt II application 321990306 for the tenant renovation. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $30,000.

The building is currently occupied by a Raymour and Flanigan store.
