Affiliate of billionaire Kirsh family pays $14.5M for townhouse in Lincoln Square

An affiliate of the billionaire Kirsh family through the entity 37w70 LLC paid $14.5 million to Chopin Partners LLC for the townhouse (A4) at 37 West 70th Street in Lincoln Square, Manhattan.
The deal closed on July 15, 2021 and was recorded on July 29, 2021.
The property has 6,540 square feet of built space and 1,485 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 8,032 square feet according to PincusCo analysis of city data. The sale price per built square foot is $2,217 and the price per buildable square foot is $1,805 per the PincusCo analysis.
The seller bought the property on 4-Sep-15, for $16.4 million.
The signatory for Chopin Partners LLC was Janice E. Levine.

The billionaire Kirsh family bought the unit through its KIFO USA LLC. Nathan Kirsh, who generated the family fortune and owns a majority of the restaurant supply holding company Jetro Holdings, is from Swaziland and has $4.4 billion in assets according to Forbes.
