ACAN Development submitted a new building construction project for a 36-unit, 27,244-square-foot residential (R-2) building at 2302 Hughes Avenue in Belmont, Bronx. The plan was filed on June 3, 2026. It calls for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, six-story building and was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X01337563. The project is described in the filing as: erection of a new 6 story + cellar and penthouse residential building. The applicant is the Registered Architect Jakov Saric of Node Architecture, Engineering, Consulting PC. Adam Nieweg  of ACAN Development submitted the plans.

The 34 apartments are distributed across floors one through six and a penthouse level. There is no retail or commercial space in the building. There are three units on the first floor, six units each on floors two to six, and a penthouse unit on the penthouse floor.
