ABS Partners’ property can be occupied following a $17M change in use to an office building in Flatiron

ABS Partners, on March 9, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $17 million change in use of an office building at 162 Fifth Avenue in Flatiron.

The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 165-foot tall, 12-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: filing to create a new certificate of occupancy, existing office building to remain, create public assemblies spaces 2nd & 11th floors, remove & install new exit stairs, interior partitions, ceilings & doors. as shown on drawings filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $16,975,000.
