$6M facade rehab completed at 270 Riverside Drive in the Upper West Side
On July 22, a $6.3 million rehabilitation of the facade of a condominium at 270 Riverside Drive in the Upper West Side was marked as completed with the Department of Buildings.
The plans, pre-filed by the agent company Punia and Marx on January 22, 2016, call for a rehab of the facade of the 150-foot tall, 12-story, building. The plans were permitted on June 8, 2016.
The project is described in the filings as: remove and replace damaged masonry and lintels. Partial parapet replacement. Paint fire escapes. Repair and repoint masonry. Repair of structural beams associated with the main roof deck. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $6,292,676.
The condo principal sponsor is William Montgomery, who submitted a condominium plan with the New York State Attorney General on June 5, 2014. The plan was made effective by 10 units or 17 percent on April 11, 2016. The condo has a current sellout price of $176,061,980.
