$68M condo plan with 86 units submitted in LIC

On August 11, a condominium plan was submitted for 86 residential units and three commercial units at 37-19 32nd Street in Long Island City, Queens.

The condo plan, CD210233, has a sellout price of $68 million with the New York State Attorney General. Yiming Li is listed as the General Manager.

Yimby published renderings of the development, seen below, in 2017.

In September of 2015, Jin Huang through the entity Shangri-La Astoria Inc., filed new building plans with the NYC Department of Buildings calling for the construction of a 69-foot tall, seven-story, 76,083-square-foot mixed-use building with 86 dwelling units at the property.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and wholesale establishments. The second floor will have 14 dwelling units, floors three through six will each have 16 dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have eight dwelling units and indoor and outdoor recreation space. The building will have 43 parking spaces in the cellar.

The plans were permitted in 2017.

The site was purchased in 2013 for $8.1 million.
