$5.6M build-out planned for early childhood center in Ridgewood

Steven Sasson of the discount retailer ABC Superstore, on August 12, filed plans for a $5.6 million build-out of a building at 63-57 Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood, Queens.

The plans call for a rehab of the 50-foot-tall, two-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00764429.

The project is described in the filing as: Interior fit out of an existing two-story building to accommodate a 3K early learning center and fence with gate. A 3K center is for children approximately three years old who are not old enough for pre-kindergarten.

The architect listed is Ciardullo Architecture & Engineering.

The property was acquired for $5.5 million on January 30, 2014.
