$2.6M rehab completed at Cardinal Spellman High School in Longwood Melrose
Cardinal Spellman High School, on August 6, formally completed a $2.6 million rehabilitation of the school building’s roof at 1 Cardinal Spellman Place in Longwood Melrose in the Bronx.
The plans, pre-filed by the school’s principle on May 21, 2019, call for a rehab of the roof of the 60-foot tall, five-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: hereby filing roof replacement project as per plans filed herewith. No change in use egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,583,526.
The architect listed is Sullivan Engineering LLC.
Cardinal Spellman is a co-ed Roman Catholic high school from ninth to twelfth grade. The school has not filed any plans since the May 2019 roof rehab.
