Zeta Charter Schools files plans for 156k sf school in Mott Haven

Zeta Charter Schools submitted a new building construction project for a 155,865-square-foot school building at 283 Walton Avenue in Mott Haven, Bronx. The plan was filed on April 17, 2026. It calls for the construction of a 125-foot-tall, eight-story building and was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X01384282. The project is described in the filing as: construction of new building taking place at 283 Walton Ave. The applicant is the registered architect Matthew McChesney of KSS Architects LLP.
Zeta Charter Schools through the entity 261 Walton Facility LLC paid $29.7 million to Knickpoint Ventures through the entity Tuck-It-Away Associates-Deegan, LLC for the development site (V0) at 261 Walton Avenue in Mott Haven, Bronx. The expected use is ground up development.
The deal closed on February 19, 2026 and was recorded on March 4, 2026.

One of those seven items was a sale which Joel Waldman and Leah Waldman bought the 27,425-square-foot, eight-unit industrial (F9) on 301 Walton Avenue for $6 million from Michael Gomolinsky and Richard Gomolinski on September 16, 2025.
Of those seven items, three were loans above $5 million totaling $276.8 million. The most recent of the three was Joel Waldman and Leah Waldman in which borrowed $8.9 million from IceCap Group secured by the 27,425-square-foot, eight-unit industrial (F9) on 301 Walton Avenue on September 16, 2025.
