Trade Fair affiliate pays $4.5 million for property adjacent to Astoria grocery store it owns

An entity affiliated with Trade Fair owner Farid Jaber through the entity 23-49 Realty LLC paid the Estate of Josephine Alfieri $4.5 million for 23-49 Broadway in Astoria. The deal closed on July 16, 2020, and was recorded on August 12, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class primarily two family with store or office (S2) and containing 2 residential units. The property is 3,480 square feet. The parcel has total development potential of 18,866 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $239.

The signatory for the buying entity was Yousf Eid.

Eid’s affiliated company Farid Jaber Corp., owns the adjacent corner building, and the Farid Jaber Corp. and the new property together borrowed $6 million at the time of this purchase. The contract date was January 22, 2020. The Alfieri family has owned the building for 51 years, since May 1969.
