Travis Kalanick’s City Storage Systems pays $3.8M, at least 8th purchase in NYC since 2018

Travis Kalanick’s City Storage Systems through the entity 102 Commerce Street Brk LLC paid Jeffrey Caputo’s Commerce Real Property LLC $3.8 million for 102 Commerce Street in Brooklyn. The deal closed on October 5, 2020, and was recorded on October 21, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class office building with two to six stories (O2). The property is 5,250 square feet. The parcel(s) have total development potential of 10,500 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $362.

This is at least City Storage Systems’ eighth industrial property purchased in New York City, according to a PincusCo tally.  The contract date was July 6, 2020. Former UBER CEO Travis Kalanick runs City Storage Systems and CloudKitchens.
