Thomas Auringer pays $9M to Joseph Briody for waterfront property on City Island

Thomas Auringer through the entity 155-157 Pilot LLC paid Joseph Briody’s KBJB Temp LLC $8.8 million for 155 Pilot Street and 192 Schofield Street in Tremont. The deal closed on March 23, 2020, and was recorded on April 7, 2020. The transaction consists of 2 parcels, including the tax class marinas/yacht clubs (Q8).

The last time the property sold was February 2, 2017, for $5,000,000.

Over the past five years, there has been one NYC Department of Buildings permit application filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000. Of those there was one major renovation application including a certificate of occupancy change (A1) filed with a total estimated value of $15,000.
