Brookdale University Hospital is fully permitted for construction of a 160-unit, 137K sf residential building in Brownsville

The Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, on March 19, was given a permit for construction of a 160-unit, 137,660-square-foot residential building at 527 East 98th Street in Brownsville.

The plans call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, 7-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: new 7-story community facility and residential building plumbing filed under dob now b00214588 mechanical filed under dob now b00214563 sprinkler filed under dob now b00214743 BPP filed under 340714212, structural dob now b00214469.

The building plans indicate that in addition to apartment buildings making up the 2nd-7th floors, the ground floor will consist of offices, a fitness room, residential lobby, storage, and a laundry room.

Dattner Architects is listed as the architect for the project.
