Stagg Group files plans for 51-unit building at recently acquired Tremont property
Stagg Group, on September 2, filed a permit application for construction of a 51-unit, 33,783-square-foot residential building at 2441 Crotona Avenue in Tremont, the Bronx. The property was acquired by the developer just last month for $2.5 million.
Jay Martino, senior vice president of construction for Stagg, was the owners representative in the filing.
The plans call for the construction of a 68-foot tall, seven-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: erection of seven-story residential new building.
Per the plans filed, the cellar of the building will have parking for 23 cars. The ground floor will have a lobby, recreation room, and parking for an additional 10 cars. Floors two through seven will each have nine dwelling units, the seventh floor will also have a recreation room.
Minkuk Kim of Marin Architects is listed as the architect on the filing.
Demolition plans were filed last month for the two-story building on the property. The plans are currently awaiting permits.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
