The school bus operator Allied Transit through the entity Monk Holdings Corp. paid $7.6 million to Barry Haskell through the entity CJC Foster Ave LLC for the industrial building (G2) at 8215 Foster Avenue and an adjacent parking lot (G7) on Foster Avenue, in Canarsie, Brooklyn.
The deal closed on June 11, 2025 and was recorded on June 17, 2025. The two properties have 2,600 square feet of built space and 29,480 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 32,000 square feet according to a PincusCo analysis of city data. The sale price per built square foot is $2,923 and the price per buildable square foot is $237 per the PincusCo analysis. (The price per square foot analysis is the transaction price divided by square feet as reported in public records and assumes no air rights have been sold.)
The signatory for Barry Haskell was Barry J. Haskell . The signatory for Allied Transit was John Curcio . The contract date was May 7, 2025. Barry Haskell represents other family members. The Curcio family also operates bus companies Empire Charter Service and Empire State Bus.
Prior sales and revenue
Prior to this transaction, PincusCo has records that the buyer Allied Transit purchased one property in one transaction for a total of $4 million and has no record it sold any properties over the past 24 months.
The seller Barry Haskell had not purchased any other properties and sold five properties in three transactions for a total of $17 million over the same time period. Out of the two properties, one with a total of 2,600 square feet of built space generated revenue of $93,921 per year.
