Rockefeller Group, on March 6, was given a permit for a $75,000 change in use of a 1,962,900-square-foot office building at 1271 Avenue Of The Americas in Midtown West.

The plans call for no change in size but a change in use of the 574-foot tall, 47-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: alt1 filed to change occupancy on 1st floor from television studio f-2 to retail store m and build new feature stair as per plans filed herewith. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $75,000.
