Queens auto dealer borrows $42M from Santander Bank for mixed-use property in Long Island City

Auto dealer Michael Cohen through the entity 36 Street QDP LLC as borrower signed a loan agreement with lender Santander Bank valued at $42 million for 2 parcels, including the tax class commercial condominium unit (R5) at 37-14 36th Street and 37-14 36th Street in Long Island City. The deal closed on December 10, 2020 and was recorded on December 24, 2020.

Michael Cohen is an auto dealer owner who owns the property. The property was given an initial temporary certificate of occupancy in January 2018.
