Plans filed for 42-unit resi building in Bedford Park

Boris Babakhanov through the company East 202 Street LLC, on March 3, filed plans for a 34,665-square-foot residential building with 42 dwelling units at 243 East 202nd Street in Bedford Park, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The building is described in the filing, job number X00480196-I1, as a residential (R-2) apartment building.

According to the plans, floors one through eight will each have five dwelling units per floor. The basement will have two dwelling units.

The developer filed demolition plans for the two-story structure on the property in January.

The property was acquired for $860,000 last month, according to city records.
