New York City School Construction Authority pays $40M to World Wide Group for property in Queens

New York City School Construction Authority paid World Wide Group’s Pinetree Realty Corp $40.1 million for 51-30 Northern Boulevard, 53-20 Northern Boulevard, 53-22 Northern Boulevard in Queens. The deal closed on October 11, 2019, and was recorded on October 18, 2019. The transaction consists of 3 parcels, including the tax class garage with showroom (G8).
The city expects to build a 3,079-seat high school on the site, a portion of which had been occupied by retailer The Sports Authority.
