Moshe Piller buys $7M of debt from Signature Bank on two Brooklyn rentals

Moshe Piller of M.P. Management bought $7 million of debt from Signature Bank secured by two properties owned by Dimitri Vlahakis in two separate transactions in Brooklyn.

In the larger, M.P. Management through the entity Hancock Greene Holdings LLC acquired the loan from Signature Bank valued at $4.5 million for 1 parcel, including the tax class multifamily, over six families without stores (C1) and containing 71 residential units at 901 73rd Street in Dyker Heights. The deal closed on June 2, 2020 and was recorded on July 16, 2020.
The property contains a total of 56,000 square feet of built space.

Moshe Piller is the owner of M.P. Management. This is a loan for $4.5 million given in 2015. The last time the property sold was July 15, 2011, for $5,100,000.

In the second, M.P. Management through the entity Hancock Greene Holdings LLC acquired the loan from Signature Bank valued at $2.5 million for 1 parcel, including the tax class multifamily, more than six families with stores (C7) and containing 54 residential units at 1818 79th Street in Bensonhurst. The deal closed on June 2, 2020 and was recorded on July 16, 2020.
The property contains a total of 45,100 square feet of built space.

Moshe Piller is the owner of M.P. Management. This is a loan for $2.5 million given in 2017. Vlahakis owns several other properties in New York City, including the 45-unit 1601 65th Street in Brooklyn. Joseph Fingerman was the signatory for Signature Bank.
