Morgan Stanley files plans for a $83.2M renovation at hq in Times Square.

The financial institution Morgan Stanley, on August 16, filed plans for a $83.2 million of renovation work of its global headquarters at 1585 Broadway in Times Square, Manhattan. Amy Rampolla, facilities manager at Morgan Stanley, filed the plans.
The plans call for work on floors two and eight of the 685-foot-tall, 42-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00794395.
The projects were described in the filings as: Interior build out of 8th Floor office space as per plans filed herewith, application filed herewith for the second floor interior renovation, Modification to existing Mechanical System as per plans filed herewith, Modification to existing Sprinkler systems as per plans filed herewith.
The architect for the renovations on two and eight was listed is Gensler. The engineer for the modifications to existing mechanical system and sprinklers was Syska Hennessy Group.
