Mega Contracting Group permitted for 135-unit resi building in East New York

Mega Contracting Group, on July 7, received a permit for construction of a 135-unit, 98,361-square-foot residential building at 437 Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn.

The plans, pre-filed on June 28, 2019, call for the construction of an 81-foot tall, eight-story, 98,361-square-foot residential building with 135 residential units.

The project is described in the filings as: propose new eight-story mixed used building with affordable independent residences for seniors (AIRS) as per plan. Obtain new C of O.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby, commercial store, and community room. Floors two through seven will each have 20 dwelling units per floor, and the eighth floor will have 15 dwelling units and a lounge. Two units on each floor will be affordable independent residences for seniors. The roof will have a terrace.

The property was acquired for $6.1 million on January 27, 2021.
