Maddd Equities, Joy Construction pay $24.85M to NYCHA for property in Fort Greene

Maddd Equities and Joy Construction through the entity YYY Brooklyn NY LLC paid New York City Housing Authority’s New York City Housing Authority $24.85 million for land and an easement in Fort Greene. The deal closed on June 18, 2020, and was recorded on June 29, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel and an easement, including the tax class non-residential vacant land.

The developers plan an affordable housing project on the site, at 202 Tillary Street. The contract date was May 29, 2020. Eliezer Weiss of Joy Construction was the signatory for the buyers. Maddd and Joy bought 202 Tillary Street in 2018.
