Kaufman Org. signs $11M refi with American Family Life in Garment District

The Kaufman Organization through the entity S.K.I. Associates LLC as borrower signed a refi loan with lender American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus valued at $11 million for the office building (O4) at 462 7th Avenue in Garment District, Manhattan.
The deal closed on May 26, 2021 and was recorded on June 16, 2021.
The property has 189,734 square feet of built space and 0 square feet of additional air rights for a total buildable of 82,750 square feet according to PincusCo analysis of city data. The loan price per built square foot is $57 per the PincusCo analysis.

The signatory for the Kaufman Organization was Steven J. Kaufman.
Over the past five years, there have been 4 NYC Department of Buildings permit applications filed for this parcel valued at more than $20,000. There were 4 renovation/alteration projects (A2) applied for with a total estimated value of $138,400.
Steven Kaufman is the president of the Kaufman Organization.
