Joseph Riegler files plans for 131-unit mixed-use building, most units planned in Mt. Eden in 12 months

Joseph Riegler, on May 4, filed a permit application for construction of a 131-unit, 89,176-square-foot mixed-use building at 1351 Jerome Avenue in Mount Eden, Bronx.

The site is currently occupied by an A & A Moving and Storage facility. Warren Diamond was the signatory when Jerome JSD Holdings, LLC acquired the site for $9 million on May 6, 2015.

These are the third new building plans filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months. The plans call for the construction of the most dwelling units in the neighborhood during that period.

The plans call for the construction of a 115-foot-tall, 11-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00729880.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 126 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed 11-story residential development as per plans. Filing for 421a-foundation approval.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking space for 25 cars and five dwelling units. Floors two through 10 will each have 13 dwelling units per floor. The 11th floor will have nine dwelling units and recreation space. The roof will have additional recreation space.
