Joel Friedman files demo plans at East Williamsburg site with plans for seven-story
Joel Friedman, on December 8, filed a permit application for the demolition of a building at 659 Flushing Avenue in East Williamsburg.
Back in July, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a seven-story, 7,965-square-foot residential building with three units at the site.
The developer acquired the property for for $2 million back in April 2021.
The plans call for the demolition of a three-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: demolition of three-story and cellar building.
Per the NB plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and the lower half of one duplex unit. The second floor will have the upper half of a duplex unit. Floors three and four and five and six will each have a duplex unit split between the floors. The scope of work does not mention the seventh floor.
