Joel Braver pays $19M to Jacob Schwimmer for development property in Soundview

Joel Braver, head of Express Builders, through the entity Boynton Properties 2 LLC paid Jacob Schwimmer’s Soundview Estates LLC $18.5 million for land now used as a parking lot in Soundview. The deal closed on March 3, 2020, and was recorded on March 13, 2020. The transaction consists of 2 parcels.

The property does not have an address in tax records, but is on the north side of Lafayette Avenue between Boynton and Morrison avenues.

Nearby, Braver filed plans for a large, 562-unit residential building at 1580 Story Avenue, an adjacent parcel he acquired last year for $18.5 million from Schwimmer.
