Jin Sup An files plans for 21-unit residential building in Chelsea
Jin Sup An, on June 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 21-unit, 21,482-square-foot residential building at 157 West 24th Street in Chelsea.
The plans call for the construction of a 150-foot tall, 15-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: new 15-story residential building construction.
The 21 units will span floors one through 15, however a breakdown per floor was not provided in the plans. The cellar will provide accessory space to the unit on the first floor. The units will most likely be condos based on the average size of 1,022 square feet, according to Yimby.
Simon D. Lee of TL Engineering is listed as the architect.
On November 15, 2017, Jin Sup An filed plans for a 19-story, 20,137-square-foot hotel building on the property. However, those plans were never permitted and the lot is currently vacant.
The property was acquired for $6.9 million on August 7, 2015, and has borrowed $4 million through a bridge loan from Hirshmark Capital.
