J Builders NY submitted a major alteration application for the conversion of a commercial building at 4202 13th Avenue in Borough Park, Brooklyn, from two-stories and no residential units to six stories with a synagogue, office space and 16 residential units. The plan was filed on April 29, 2026. It calls for an increase in size from a 30-foot-tall, two-story building to a 68-foot-tall, six-story building with 16 dwelling units and was filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B01391288.
