Last week’s investment sales lowest total since April, at just $52M
New York City investors recorded just $52 million worth of investment purchases last week, the lowest total since one week in April when just $44 million was recorded, according to an analysis by PincusCo Media. The analysis looked at sales of $2 million and up for commercial properties with three units or more or bulk sales of condominiums or cooperatives.
The total last week is just 7 percent of the weekly average of $719 million from January 2019 to last week.
The largest sale recorded last week was the purchase by Jeffrey Farkas of an apartment building at 227 West 105th Street on the Upper West Side for $10 million.
There were just 13 commercial transactions in total.
