Gotham Organization files plans for construction of second tower on Norfolk Street
Gotham Organization, on April 10, pre-filed a permit application for construction of a 116-unit, 89,032-square-foot residential building at 64 Norfolk Street in Lower East Side.
The plans call for the construction of a 163-foot tall, 16-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: filing for new sixteen story residential building with ground floor public assembly.
According to the plans, there will be a public assembly in the form of a synagogue on the ground floor and a synagogue/parish house on the second floor, along with seven apartments. Floors 3-12 will each have nine apartments, floors 14-16 will have six apartments, and the 13th floor will be used as an accessory residential amenity space.
The filing comes just over a month after Gotham filed a permit application for construction of a 366-unit, 376,987-square-foot residential building at 60 Norfolk Street, on March 6.
