GFP Real Estate is fully permitted for a $150K change in use to third floor of office building in Chelsea
GFP Real Estate, on March 26, was given a permit for a $150,000 change in use of the third floor of their 237,000-square-foot office building at 675 Avenue of the Americas in Chelsea.
The plans pre-filed on February 13, 2020, call for no change in size but a change in use of the 96-foot tall, 6-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: propose to change use for the existing public assembly space into offices (Weight Watchers HQ). The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $150,000.
GFP purchased the property last year during a buying spree where they also acquired 301 First Avenue, 7 Hanover Square, and 45-18 Court Square in LIC.
The building is home for a variety of companies and retail stores. Among the most notable are Michael’s, Trader Joe’s, and Guidepoint, which GFP leased 50,000-square-feet of the building to when they purchased it.
