General Motors files plans for 13K sf car dealership in Astoria
General Motors, on May 25, filed a permit application for construction of a 13,796-square-foot commercial car dealership at 44-16 Northern Boulevard in Astoria, Queens. David Spencer filed the plans.
There have been 33 new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.
The plans call for the construction of a 26-foot-tall, two-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00649860.
The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 631 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: new two-story commercial building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have car dealership space and office space, while the second floor will just have office space. There will also be parking space.
The architect listed is Ware Malcomb.
The property was acquired with two other properties for $25 million on July 10, 2009.
