Foresters buys $6.5M of debt from A10 Capital secured by Brooklyn commercial properties

The Independent Order of Foresters, based in Toronto, bought the $6.5 million loan from A10 Capital. The Independent Order is an affiliate of Foresters International, a global financial services firm.

The properties are owned by Howard Jaffee at 1372 Broadway, 1376 Broadway, 1380 Broadway, 1386 Broadway, 1390 Broadway, and others in Ocean Hill. The deal closed on August 7, 2020 and was recorded on September 14, 2020.
