Fisher Brothers finishes $2.7M single-floor rehab of office in Plaza District

Fisher Brothers, on August 17, formally completed a $2.7 million rehabilitation of one floor of an office building at 299 Park Avenue in Plaza District.

The plans, pre-filed on October 3, 2018, call for a rehab of the 38th floor of the 574-foot tall, 42-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use egress, or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,723,000.

The architect listed on the filing is Gensler.

Traxys, a financing, investing, and marketing marketing firm in the metals, minerals and mining industries, signed a 15-year lease for the entire 29,771-square-foot 38th floor of 299 Park Ave in March of 2018. At the time of the deal, the lease brought the building to 85 percent occupied.

Fisher Brothers has been actively renovating the building this year, with seven A2 renovation plans being filed so far. The most recent plans were filed on August 5.
