Fisher Brothers files plans for $3.3M rehab to high floor in Midtown West office building
Fisher Brothers, on June 11 and 12, filed two permit application totaling $3.3 million for a rehab of one floor of an office building at 1345 Sixth Avenue in Midtown West.
The plans call for a renovation of the 47th floor of the 645-foot tall, 49-story, building.
The first project, pre-filed June 11, is described in the filings as: filing herewith architectural drawings showing partial demolition of office space on the 47th floor as per plans submitted. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $390,000.
The second project, pre-filed June 12, is described in the filings as: filing herewith architectural drawing showing partial renovation of existing office space on the 47th floor. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $2,915,939.
In 2015, Fisher Brothers and J.P. Morgan announced that Fortress Investment Group renewed and expanded its lease at 1345 Avenue of the Americas. The lease, which became effective in early 2017, was for 200,000-square-feet of space, making up the entire 23rd, 26th, 45th and 46th floors, as well as part of the 47th floor.
