Fisher Brothers files plans for a $2.8M single-floor rehab at Park Avenue Plaza

Fisher Brothers, on June 24, filed a permit application for a $2,782,998 rehab of the 18th floor at 55 East 52nd Street, known as the Park Avenue Plaza.

The plans call for a rehab of the 18th floor of the 572-foot tall, 42-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior nonbearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application.

M Moser Associates LLC is the architect listed on the application.

The entire 30,345-square-foot 18th floor was listed as “lease out” according to the Fisher Brothers’s website.

The building has plenty of notable tenants, including investment management corporation BlackRock, consulting firm McKinsey & Company, and insurance firm Swiss Re.

In 2011, the Chinese real estate firm Zhang Xin acquired a 49 percent stake in the Park Avenue Plaza for nearly $600 million.

It has been an active month for Fisher Brothers. On June 11 and 12 they filed two permit applications, totaling $3.3 million, for a rehab of the 47th floor of their office building at 1345 Sixth Avenue in Midtown West.
