Empire State Realty Trust finishes $5.7M multi-floor rehab of office space at 1400 Broadway

Empire State Realty Trust, on January 26, formally completed a $5.7 million rehabilitation of several floors at 1400 Broadway in the Garment District.

The plans, pre-filed on February 13, 2019, call for a rehab of floors eight through 10 of the 360-foot tall, 36-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: general construction modifications taking place on floors eight through 10 as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,700,000.

TPG Architecture is listed as the architect.

Tenants, according to the landlord, include Interpublic Group of Companies, OnDeck Capital, Mott MacDonald, Fragomen, and the corporate executive offices of Burlington Coat Factory and Kohl’s.
