EMP Capital Group files plans for 193-unit mixed-use building in Crown Heights
EMP Capital Group, on April 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 193-unit, 172,789-square-foot mixed-use building at 1042 Atlantic Avenue in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. Elie Pariente, a principal with the firm, filed the plans.
The developer filed an application for a zoning map amendment and a zoning text amendment to facilitate the development last year. The application called for the construction of a 152,000-square-foot mixed-use building with 204 dwelling units at 1034-1042 Atlantic Avenue.
EMP Capital Group purchased the site for $14 million just last week.
The plans call for the construction of a 175-foot-tall, 17-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00715375.
The development site spans two tax lots. The lot width is 220 feet.
The project is described in the filing as: proposed 17-story and cellar mixed-use building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space and a lounge. Floors two through nine will each have 15 dwelling units per floor, floors 10 through 12 will each have 11 dwelling units per floor, and floors 13 through 17 will each have eight dwelling units per floor. The cellar will have additional retail space and parking space.
