Elias Kalimian seeks certification for the enlargement, conversion of a commercial building to an 82k sf resi building in HY

Elias Kalimian of ELK Investors through the company Central Properties LLC, is seeking chair certification for the vertical enlargement of a 49,110-square-foot commercial building to a 19-story, 82,304-square-foot residential building at 334 West 39th Street in Hudson Yards, in Manhattan.

The project area consists of Lots 11 and 60 on Block 762, which is the block bounded by West 38th and 39th Streets between 8th and 9th
Avenues.

There is currently existing on Lot 60 a 213,945-square-foot building with mixed residential and commercial use, and on Lot 11, a 49,110-square-foot commercial building that would be enlarged and converted to residential use.

The plans do not indicate how many residential units the new building would contain.
