EJS Group, Hope Street Capital permitted for 336-unit hotel and apartment development in Bed-Stuy

EJS Group and Hope Street Capital, on March 21, received a permit for construction of a 336-unit, 163,708-square-foot hotel and apartment complex at 1215 Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. According to the plans, the building will have 87 residential units and 249 hotel rooms. The plans indicate the space will be broken into multiple buildings.

The development team purchased the building from Tower Holdings Group, Time Square Development, and The Collective for $33.6 million on March 2, 2022.

The plans, pre-filed on September 16, 2019 by the prior development team, call for the construction of a 105-foot tall, 10-story hotel building.

The project is described in the filings as: erect 10-story new building.

Per the plans, the building will have fitness rooms, recreation space, a restaurant, and amenity space. The floors plans mention both a Fulton building and a Halsey building, indicating there will be two towers.
