Edward J. Minskoff Equities pays $62M to Forman family for property in Dumbo

=Edward J. Minskoff Equities through the entity Jay Street Office LLC paid Forman family’s PAF Ferry LLC $61.5 million for 29 Jay Street in Fulton Ferry. The deal closed on March 23, 2020, and was recorded on March 25, 2020. The transaction consists of 1 parcel, including the tax class art type theater with seating capacity more than 400 seats (J2). The property is 21,735 square feet. The parcel(s) have total development potential of 189,487 square feet.
The average sale price per square foot is $325.

The sale went into contract November 22, 2019, city records show. Traded NY identified the brokers, which were JLL’s Stephen Palmese, Brendan Maddigan, Michael Mazzara, Ethan Stanton, Winfield Clifford, Bob Knakal and Jonathan Hageman.
The DOB issued a major alteration (A1) initial temporary certificate of occupancy for the building on November 14, 2012.
