Minskoff files plans for 184K sf office tower at recently purchased Dumbo property
Edward J. Minskoff Equities, on August 27, filed a permit application for construction of a 184,467-square-foot office building at 29 Jay Street in Dumbo, a property which the firm acquired for $61.5 million in March of this year.
The plans call for the construction of a 148-foot tall, 11-story office building. Daniel Centonze of Minskoff was the owner representative on the filing. Minskoff is nearing completion at 17 Jane Street, condominium building in the West Village, where it obtained its initial temporary certificate of occupancy in May.
The project is described in the filings as: new building.
The building will have multiple retail spaces on the ground floor, according to the plans filed. Office space will occupy floors two though 11. The building will also have multiple terraces, a lobby, lounge, and meeting rooms.
Marvel Architects is the architect listed.
Demolition plans were filed in June of this year.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
