Eddie Yair’s Lay Assets files plans for 45-unit residential building in Sheepshead Bay
Eddie Yair’s Lay Assets, on May 22, filed plans to construct a 41,848-square-feet, 45-unit residential building at 2733 East 12th Street in Homecrest, Brooklyn.
The plans call for a new 78-foot tall, seven-story residential building.
The plans are stated as: proposed new seven-story, community facility and 45 family dwelling units.
The building will have 10,111 square feet of community facility space and 31,737 square feet of residential space. The ground floor of the proposed building will be used for a residential lobby, community space and parking for 25 cars. The second floor will also have community space, along with one dwelling unit, laundry, and bicycle storage. The third floor will have nine units, floors four through six will have 11 units each, and the seventh floor will have two units along with a roof terrace.
Yaacov Azrad, a partner in Lay Assets, bought the parcel with an address 2727 Homecrest Avenue from Richard LeFrak’s LeFrak in February 2020 for $3.3 million after going into contract in December 2019.
In 2016, Eddie Yair filed plans for a 16-unit mixed-Use building at 2735 East 13th Street in Sheepshead Bay.
Studio Gallos is listed as the architect for the new development.
