Dov Hertz pays $66.1M for Staten Island parcel
Dov Hertz through his DH Property Holdings’ 1900 South Owner LLC acquired an interest from the Vanderbilt family through the entity Vanbro Corporation valued at $66.1 million for 3 parcels, including the tax class land not zoned residential or Manhattan below 110th Street (V1) at 1900 South Avenue, 1780 South Avenue, and 360 Industry Road in Staten Island. The deal closed on December 30, 2020 and was recorded on January 13, 2021.
The contract date was February 26, 2020. Dov Hertz is principal of DH Property Holdings. Cushman & Wakefield’s John Alascio, Sri Vankayala, Chuck Kohaut, TJ Sullivan and Emily Johansen represented the buyer, The Real Deal reported. The signatory was Cornelius Vanderbilt, Jr., listed as president of Vanbro.
