Double U Realty signs $72M construction loan with Lorimer Capital for retail, sport facility in Williamsburg

Double U Realty through the entity 83 Wythe LLC as borrower signed a new construction loan with lender Lorimer Capital through the entity 83 Wythe Senior Investors, L.P. valued at $72 million for the retail and sports facility building (K2) at 83 Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
On the lot, there is one active new building construction project, B01084172, for a 88,680 square-foot sports facility building. The project was submitted by Double U Development and filed by Michael Weitzman with plans filed August 6, 2024 and it has not been permitted yet.
The deal closed on April 15, 2026 and was recorded on May 6, 2026. The prior lender was G4 Capital Partners which held debt that had an original loan amount of $14.75 million. The loan price per planned development square foot is $812 per the PincusCo analysis. (The price per square foot analysis is the transaction price divided by square feet as reported in public records and assumes no air rights have been sold.)
The owner bought the property on June 22, 2022, for $20 million. The signatory for Double U Realty was Michael Weitzman . The signatory for Lorimer Capital was Evan Bell .
