Derby Copeland Capital through the entity Derby Alphabet Blues 5872, LLC paid $64 million to Janet Zinberg and Joel Zinberg through the entity 72a Realty Associates for the 76-unit residential elevator building (D6) at 58-72 Avenue A in Alphabet City, Manhattan.
The deal closed on September 12, 2022 and was recorded on September 23, 2022. The property has 79,956 square feet of built space according to PincusCo analysis of city data. The sale price per built square foot is $800 per the PincusCo analysis. (The price per square foot analysis is the transaction price divided by square feet as reported in public records and assumes no air rights have been sold.)
