David Zwirner Gallery pays $12M to Werner Lederer for commercial condo in Astoria

Chelsea-based David Zwirner Gallery through the entity DZGI, LLC paid Werner Lederer’s Hazen Street Realty LLC $12.0 million for the lower level condominium unit at 19-40 Hazen Street in Astoria. The deal closed on November 13, 2019, and was recorded on November 25, 2019. The condo unit 2 is 33,787 square feet, and is the lower level of the building, which has two condo units. The upper portion of the building, condo unit 1, is owned by Lederer’s sponsor company.
