Plaintiff-tenant Sosa seeks $5 million termination fee from landlord Ashkenazy Acquisition, which plaintiff claims is due because build-out work for office space at 115 Seventh Avenue was not completed. Sosa signed a lease in the building, according to the Commercial Observer. LINK
Plaintiff-contract vendee seeks return of $273,000 deposit from developer, which could not convey title to commercial condo unit 6A at 89 Bowery in Manhattan because it had not received TCO by a certain time. It received TCO on January 21, 2021. LINK
Plaintiff-landlord claims lender-defendant Sherr Equities used unfair lending terms for a $5.6 million loan at 151 East 170th Street, Bronx, that resulted in defaults and a 24% default rate. LINK
